The walls are now a light teal and the panels are beginning to take shape.
Top arch, from each panel, was cut down by removing the back of each panel and sawing the tops off. Panel back was then reattached. Next each panel had a board secured to the back top edge in order to keep the panel stable when standing upright. Fabric was pulled from front of each panel.
Two panels are hinged together to form one headboard.
Plan to paint the outside trim with Atelier Grey and finish with light and dark waxes. Inset into each panel will be a mirror which I will antique when the weather warms slightly, in order to work outdoors with this process.
