Her neighbor and good friend, Denise also brought a small table/nightstand to transform.
Denise chose VINTAGE AFFLICTION and applied light and dark wax. A discussion on whether to apply silver leaf to the front, squared, raised panels was had but felt time would not allow completion at the workshop. Perhaps with that next project at home!
Sisters, Sandy and Phyllis brought several small items to paint. Picture frames and candle holders. Sandy wanted to help her daughter, Sherri, complete two lamps since she knew Sherri would have to leave a bit early. The lamps were painted in RUGO and finished with light and dark waxes. The dark wax brought out the beautiful design on the lamps. Sandy had given the lamps to Sherri years ago and now they will be that accent color for her bedroom. Sandy also did a puzzle shaped frame in DUNAVANT GREEN and Phyllis used RUGO on her two 8x10 frames.
A wonderful afternoon of conversation and fellowship. Invited back when there are no winds or rain and we will use a couple of fun colors in the High Performance Furniture Lacquer.
